Evil John McCain "Can't Have" Baby Alex

You've got to be kidding me.

This the mind-numbingly, ludicrous drivel that the liberals are churning out around the clock...and we're only in for more of the same as we near November.

As one Youtube user responded:

It completely misrepresents McCain. When he said 100 years he was making the point that it wasn't simply being there that ultimately mattered, but whether or not our troops were being killed. He compared it to our still being in Germany, Japan, or Korea. He wasn't saying 100 years of war is OK.

Not to mention we have an all volunteer Military. And the men who join do so willingly. They aren't babies being snatched from their Mothers.

Now, I'm no McCain apologist, but one has to marvel at the idiocy behind this propaganda. Why would McCain take this woman's baby from her? Is the mother admitting that if another war were taking place when baby Alex was of service age, she wouldn't let him enlist? Or is it just certain, unpopular wars like Iraq?

If his Mom is this protective, should she make more videos to his future bride, or college recruiter? "If you're so impressed with my son's athletic abilities that you are prepared to offer him a fully paid scholarship...YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM!"

All hail baby Alex, future mama's boy.

One month of silence

Well, it's been about one month since my last post. Following the death of Forrest Pollock, I took a leave of absence - a vow of "cyber silence", if you will.

After a time of soul searching, and a well needed mental rest - the following thoughts hit me:

What do have to say of value, anyway? And who really cares?

I still don't have an answer to these issues, but if you're wondering what I've been up to during my break, here's a few things that have occupied my time:

Work. Rest. Chipley. Choir. Work. Wedding planning. Chipley. Work. Work. Wedding planning. Chipley.

Notice the absence of words like, "family," "free time," and regrettably, "God."

Because without Him at the center, everything else will fail. Only by keeping Jesus foremost will my life (and everything in it) be pleasing to God.
