In an effort to remove the beaver damn blocking the content flow here, I've decided to post short, pithy entries.
Now I never wanted to be one of those people, who populate their blogs with useless drivel just to say they post "every day".
But it beats being one of those other people, who start blogs then leave them out to drift in the cyberspace breeze, posting once every 2 years.
Which is about what I've become.
Anyway, I'm reading Greg Gutfeld's new book, The Bible of Unspeakable Truths.
Greg is brilliant. And witty to boot.
As a political satirist, this book is filled with outrageous observations that are both insightful and ridiculous at the same time.
So, I thought it would share some of these here on Rant Rav!ngs.
--------
On the Hollywood Left's hate for American success:
"If you want to win a war, you're evil. But if you want to win an award for a stupid film, you're good."
On ugly political pundits:
"If you don't know who David Gergen is, imagine a sock dipped in flesh. Also on the list, Howard Kurtz, a turtle in a hairpiece. And Mark Shields - who I believe was a mime back in the seventies with Lorene Yarnelle. Paul Begala is also there, a giant thumb with sad eyes. And what's a list without James Carville, a cross between a skull and a lollipop. Some believe he is actually a gibbon that Bill Clinton trapped and trained to speak."
