The wait is over. After a long hiatus, the Whittington Weekly is back, and for the first time ever, is accepting photo and story contributions from Mississippi College students.
Inside the site you'll find: A look back at how Hurricane Katrina affected campus life, a story featuring a Whittington RA without his pants, a new Babe of the Weekly photo gallery of the lovely Miriam Webb, and content from the groundbreaking first two issues of the original Whittington Weekly.
Discerning readers will also notice a new face among the usual Whitt Weekly suspects: Chief Choc, fueling speculation that the former MC mascot has joined the staff of the controversial publication in response to being unceremoniously dumped by the college due to political pressures. I spoke with Grandmaster Sexay (one of the Whitt Weekly's editors) earlier today over a weak cell phone signal, and he assured me that this situation would be addressed in a future article. He also asked me to encourage readers to check out the site after Halloween for a special story...
Until then, we can all enjoy reading through the of the site's back issues, which were published during a very historical time in the history of (here goes): "the largest college in the Clinton area."
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Brian,
I am so happy Whittington Weekly is back. I am a reader from way back. Thanks for your contribution to laughter.
