Well, the wait is almost over.
And after all of the PlayStation 3 madness, the arrival of the Nintendo Wii can't come soon enough.
Here in Orlando, security officials at the Mall at Millenia where overwhelmed when a mob of over 100 people fought to receive one of the 16 coveted sales tickets at the mall's entrance.
Around other parts of the country, robbery and shootings painted a
shocking picure of what happens when people start behaving like animals
over the latest holiday flavor-of-the-year.
Most reports indicate that many PS3 campers were not in it for the love of gaming but rather greed, and planned to sell the system on eBay where many system's are already going for upwards of $10 thousand.
Nintendo will do its best to appease the rabid consumer demand in two days, and has promised a steady supply of systems will remain flowing into retailers through Christmas...starting this Sunday.
Until then, take a look at this sweet Red Steel trailer demonstrating the potential of four player shoot-outs with the Wiimote!
I didn't make the first round of pre-order giveaways for my Wii but I have high hopes for getting it soon!
