My good friend and fellow Mississippi College Communication major alum Emory Colvin recently returned to MC on November 16th to perform her one woman show, "The Thread," on the stage of the Aven Little Theatre.
Those who were able to attend the show, which was held over two consecutive days, certainly experienced history. Colvin's Dramatic Encounter ministry has been lighting up the stage all over the South, and it's not very often that a graduate of the Theatre program at MC gets to return as a performer so soon.
Not only that, but she now has the distinction of having the LARGEST press release picture in recent memory. Measuring in at a whopping 600x900 pixels, curious visitors to MC's News & Events page that click the "Dramatist, Emory Colvin, to perform at MC" story could be slightly jolted when the page loads, simply because of the sheer size of the image.
By comparison, other stories have images that are 460x456 pixels and even the Naturals picture was scaled down 28%. Has the MC webmaster gotten lazy when it comes to keeping the images consistent?
Since I know how you'll react once you read this Emory, I am NOT saying that 600x900 pixels of Emory Colvin goodness is a bad thing. In fact, I'm one of your biggest fans.
Come to think of it, the MC webmaster must be too!
Only you, Brian, only you. Thanks for the laugh!
