The final wrestling legend to be inducted into the 2007 WWE Hall of Fame was announced last night on Monday Night RAW, and in a emotional moment, Jim Ross received a standing ovation following the airing of the above tribute video.
To those who don't know, Jim Ross is the leading play-by-play commentator in the WWE and his voice is permantly etched into many historical moments over the last decade. He is THE VOICE of wrestling, and absolutely has NO equal in the sport.
Ross joins an impressive group of wrestling personalities in the 2007 Class, including "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, Mr. Fuji, Jerry "The King" Lawler, The Original Sheik, Nick Bockwinke, The Wild Samoans, and the late Curt "Mr. Perfect" Henning.
The final hour of the 2007 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will be broadcast live from the Fox Theatre in Detroit this Saturday night at midnight/ 11pm central on the USA Network.
