I had a thought the other day when I was looking at the new HPC Arena
going up. I was looking at all the reflective material on the front -
all the glass that shines almost like a mirror in the right light.
I thought about how James says the Word of God is like a mirror. When we look into it we see a reflection of Jesus Christ. And as I imagined what that really looked like, I saw in my mind's eye the reflections that will soon pass across this place - those who are lost; reflections of the homeless and jobless, of smiling kids and new marriages, of families that have committed and sacrificed to build a place where people will encounter God for His glory.
And when you connect all the images that will be reflected in these windows, I believe it all creates a huge mosaic of the image of Jesus our Savior. This is a place where He will love to be because it is a place that will welcome the poor and hurting.
I can't wait to see those reflections in these windows.
