Well, I guess today's a fitting day to post this here.
The women in my life watch this show. I follow it moderately. Jon and Kate are having martial problems.
I weighed in on this earlier in a Facebook thread:
Well, I guess I gotta weigh in on this. Not sure what's up with all the
demonizing of Jon. After all of Kate's nagging and shrillness towards
him, I don't blame him for being distant. While I certainly don't
condone divorce, I wouldn't want to be married to a harpee like her
anyway. Poor kids are caught in the middle.
Anyway, here's a composite I created to reflect the present Gosslin situation.
Notice some of the subtleties, like the towering Kate, standing tall above everyone (symbolic of her ego). Then there's the children walking in the valley of her shadow of death. And the distant Jon, detached and isolated.
In addition, notice the dichotomy of their opposing positions, with corresponding colors of red (anger) and blue (sadness).
Actually, I'm making all this up.
But read into what you will.
