Update on Dad
Saturday, April 13 - 12:30pm
Yesterday was a mixed bag of news. Dad's fluid levels continue to lower. Thanks God! MRI results revealed that his heart has improved to 10 percent pumping strength, which is still very weak. They have him on stronger blood pressure and another drug that strengthens his heart muscle.
But no definitive info from the MRI, which we were hoping for answers.
The good news is, they've almost hit a limit as to what they can do for him now in the hospital. They may send him back home next week, which we are all excited about! But he'll have to continue to receive treatment there from a local cardiologist.
So, its really the beginning of a long term journey, certainly not an ending yet.
Prayer point for today: That this weekend will give us some more info as to what will happen next week if he is discharged. What are the guidelines for his transition back home.
The One who sees the end from the beginning knows exactly what happens next. And that's enough for me!
