On Sunday, July 26, the entire universe turned against the newlywed McCollister's, with a four-pronged attack.
We were vanquished in Van Nuys.

2. The WALMART
We have not seen hide nor hair of a WalMart since moving here. But Chipley located one online near the church.
After traveling back down the freeway, we followed our Google Map directions to a large warehouse that had a WalMart sign out front.
It resembled more of a K-Mart on the inside.
I winced as I placed my hand on the no doubt germ-infested handle of the shopping cart.
Due to the high cost of living out here, it's hard to find a good deal on groceries.
Which is the main reason we wanted to visit a WalMart.
But to our amazement, this huge, two story land of the rollback prices offered very little in grocery selections.
We bought a few items, and then tried to find some beach towels (which have been hard to find for some reason).
After getting the run around from two attendants with poor English communication skills, we decided to check out.
A partially full grocery buggy rang up at around $80, which is the best deal we've come across since moving.
We finished, made our way to the FJ, and loaded up the goods.
Then, upon starting the car, I was greeted by the low fuel light.
