My wife is truly unique.
For instance, Chipley's obsessed with peeling off adhesives (warning labels, brand stickers, DVD wrappers) and popping bubble wrap.
Also, she has a strong dislike of pennies.
And she loves fresh bread.
Just out of the oven, steaming hot.
Today, I witnessed this characteristic first hand.
We were shopping for groceries in Albertson's, and as we passed the bakery, she made a beeline for the counter.
When she returned, she was grasping a bag containing a hot off the belt loaf of goodness.
Her eyes were so wide and animated, she looked like a kid on Christmas morning.
Along with the chicken I bought at the deli, she declared:
"We can have this with dinner tonight!"
But she couldn't wait that long.
As soon as we got in the FJ, she was digging into the bag of Albertson's steaming manna.
After eating, she raised her hands to heaven and broke the bread, praising God for this miracle of sustenance.
I'm sure she could empathize with the boy and his lunch that the Lord multiplied to feed the masses.
Except we had one loaf of bread and 5 chicken fingers.
